As your all aware we were suppose to be having a competition, however whenever we tried to notify XOOPS users of this, our news articles where simply not authorised on XOOPS.org despite how many themes the XOOPS community could of gained from this.

So if people don't know they could enter, then obviously there would be little participation and it would be rather pointless.

I'm not sure of the exact reasons why our articles didn't go live, but this seemed to become the normal thing on XOOPS.org. We would also post articles on behalf Smart Factory and these articles would not be set live and as a result we posted them in the the forums only to have them edited or removed. The reason:

Because INBOX International, the company behind Smart Factory also support and develop another CMS titled ImpressCMS is the reason these articles are edited, they are not given the respect and honor of having one little link to their commercial site for all the hard work and dedication they've given XOOPS free for many years.

ImpressCMS is also a censored word on XOOPS.org

It wasn't always like this and it all seems rather petty, however this also seems to be the way of the world sometimes.

I'm not sure if this is the reasons our articles don't go live, but one would assume so.

There will still be competitions though, but we will no longer support both CMS's and therefore you can now consider Bassman Themes - ImpressCMS.
