bassmanthemes.com started life in 2004 when Bassman decided to begin creating XOOPS themes (and modules) as a way of putting back in to the XOOPS community that has been so helpful to him since he started his first XOOPS-based website a few years before. After 3 years of creating themes and porting designs from other sources, he has stepped down from bassmanthemes.com to spend more free time with his family. I'm sure we can all agree he's been a great asset to XOOPS and will sadly be missed, although I'm sure he will be popping in from time to time. In 2008 after being snubbed by XOOPS whilst trying to offer a Theming competition with prizes of monetary value that would benefit both XOOPS and ImpressCMS end users, it became rather apparent XOOPS had no room for BassmanThemes any longer because of it's association with ImpressCMS, it was after this that BassmanThemes moved to supporting only the ImpressCMS project. This was not an easy decision to make. ImpressCMS is not the only vested interest we have though, so we will also talk and publicise other systems including Word Press which has proved to be a very valuable tool over the years.
